Job description

As an LPC Associate Director of Property Management, you will be responsible for the leadership and day-to-day management of a property or multiple properties, in addition to oversight responsibility of other managers, properties, and clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as primary contact with property owners, serving as Owner Representative to ensure client objectives are actively addressed; prepare and deliver timely, accurate, and complete reports as required.
  • Ensure teams respond to client and tenant issues promptly and follow through to successful resolution; act as point of escalation for complex issues requiring diplomacy and business acumen.
  • Direct and control preparation and delivery of timely, accurate, and insightful monthly reports and annual budgets; prepare and present corporate budget for PM expenses in the assigned market as required.
  • Direct lease administration activities; coordinate with accounting and lease administration to ensure high-quality process and appropriate controls.
  • Oversee proactive collection of all fees and charges billed to clients; report AR status to Sr. Director and Managing Director with recommendations for action.
  • Direct sourcing and procurement activities across the assigned market; oversee consolidated sourcing and procurement activities of the team.
  • Provide formal supervision to assigned teams; approve staffing and HR recommendations; conduct performance evaluations; proactively manage succession plans.
  • Ensure quality of periodic property inspections through administrative and physical review; manage vendor services to ensure contract compliance.
  • Direct and oversee programs to improve processes at properties and within LPC; champion business cases for improvement.
  • Drives strong results from direct reports by providing appropriate work direction, strategic guidance, and performance management.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) with 7-10 years of related experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Real Estate License required where mandatory by local regulation. Professional designation such as RPA, CPM, or CCIM preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel. Knowledge of Yardi or MRI and Kardin preferred. AP and CMMS proficiency required.
  • Experience with commercial office, retail, and industrial properties required. Advanced working knowledge of leases, contracts, financial instruments, property taxes, and construction required.
  • Expert knowledge of financial terms and principles; ability to forecast, prepare budgets with long-term capital plans, and deliver insightful variance reports; prepares financial analysis and cost/benefit propositions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to lead exchange of sensitive and complex information.
  • Proven leadership experience and skills to empower large teams to achieve a broad range of client and company objectives.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
