Job description

The Candy Shop retail staff are responsible for offering engaging customer service, maintaining a well-organized and clean shop, ensuring efficient & accurate transactions, and supporting social media and loyalty program efforts.


Reports to

The Candy Shop manager


Duties
  • Provide joyful & authentic customer service to guarantee a memorable experience. 
  • Actively engage customers in the shop’s loyalty program & explain benefits. 
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the candy inventory, including ingredients, allergens, and flavor profiles, to offer personalized recommendations and answer customer questions.
  • Efficiently and accurately operate the point–of-sale and online ordering systems to process cash, card & digital transactions.
  • Contribute to the daily maintenance of a clean, well-stocked & organized retail space. 
  • Assist in creating fun, engaging social media content showcasing new arrivals or shop highlights.
