Job description

Under direct supervision of the Manager, Mobile & E-Commerce, the Supervisor, App Loyalty Marketing will be responsible for overseeing the creation and execution of digital marketing strategies and initiatives to increase app marketplace engagements and overall loyalty for the Yaamava' Resort & Casino's mobile app. This includes the creation of integrated marketing campaigns, identification of opportunities by analyzing users and engagements, measuring promotional ROI, and development of App Marketplace product features and user experience enhancement plans.
This role will also be responsible for supervising, leading, and supporting a team of specialists and analysts throughout their day-to-day work. The ideal candidate is data and user journey-focused, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and will play a key role in developing and optimizing processes for efficiency across the department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for the creation, development and overseeing the execution of integrated digital marketing strategies and Marketplace initiatives to increase Mobile App engagements and loyalty.
2. Responsible for supervising team of specialists and analysts to ensure mobile app loyalty initiatives are executed strategically, efficiently, accurately, and timely, while producing positive casino revenue.
3. Leads, reviews, and approves all mobile app loyalty marketing strategies and campaigns.
4. Works closely with Manager, Mobile & E-Commerce to develop long-term Mobile App Loyalty and Marketplace strategies to ensure current initiatives align with departments goals and vision.
5. Collaborates with internal and external development departments to enhance Mobile App Marketplace features and functionality to increase product values and positive guest experience.
6. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning reviewing and directing work; evaluating and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Makes hiring decisions and designs individual development plans with succession planning in mind for all key roles.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or equivalent required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in communication and marketing channels including digital monetization strategies, marketing and promotion development, financial management and data analysis, e-mail, mobile marketing, digital advertising or social/mobile gaming is required.
  • Minimum one (1) year in a supervisor or manager role preferred.
  • Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements indicated above.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA)
  • Experience in evaluating and implementing complex reinvestment models is a must
  • Familiarity with content management systems.
  • Digital marketing acumen and technical expertise.
  • Knowledge of digital metrics and analytics programs.
  • Strong experience managing complex variable data or campaigns required

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS
  • At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
  • No Driving Responsibilities: Role does not require a driver's license or insurance.

  • Visual acuity that meets the requirements of the position: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading and visual inspection of employees, visitors or facility.
  • Mobility sufficient to safely move in an office environment, walk, stoop, bend and kneel, and enter, exit and operate a motor vehicle in the course of travel to promotional events, meetings, conferences, trade shows and San Manuel properties.
  • Endurance sufficient to sit, walk and stand for extended periods, and maintain efficiency throughout the entire work shift and during extended work hours.
  • The employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles including secondhand smoke.
