Title and Summary

Senior Specialist, Loyalty RewardsOverview:
This role is a force multiplier for the Loyalty Rewards product team, enabling deeper understanding of platform potential, stronger databacked decisionmaking, and clearer GTM execution. Over time, the Senior Specialist will become a trusted product expert who helps ensure Mastercard continues to deliver highimpact, scalable loyalty solutions worldwide.
You will play a critical role within Mastercard's Loyalty Rewards product organization, supporting the development, commercialization, and scaling of datadriven promotional capabilities across global markets.
This role is well suited to an analytically minded product professional who is comfortable working with technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and API specifications, and who can translate that complexity into clear gotomarket insights, opportunity assessments, and product narratives. The individual will grow into a subjectmatter expert in Mastercard Promotions and Redemptions, with deep understanding of how loyalty, rewards, and promotional mechanics drive customer engagement and measurable ROI.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Expertise
Develop a strong working knowledge of our entire Loyalty Rewards product suite, with particular focus on Mastercard Promotions, including how promotions are configured, scored, fulfilled, tracked, and reported across different markets and use cases.
Act as a Loyalty Rewards subjectmatter expert, supporting both internal stakeholders (Product, Sales, Engineering, Analytics) and external conversations where needed.
Stay current on Loyalty Rewards product capabilities, roadmaps, and dependencies across Mastercard's broader Rewards ecosystem.
Technical & Analytical Product Support
Partner closely with engineering, analytics, and platform teams to assess potential feature enhancements to determine what is feasible, scalable, and commercially viable.
Review and champion technical documentation, architecture diagrams, API specifications, and reporting outputs to understand how our capabilities function endtoend and identify future opportunity areas.
Translate technical concepts into clear product insights, limitations, and opportunities for nontechnical audiences.
Data, ROI & Opportunity Assessment
Support the development of databacked product narratives, including insights on customer behavior, engagement uplift, market insights, and commercial impact.
Conduct opportunity assessments for new use cases, feature enhancements, or GTM pathways, using both data and platform capabilities as key inputs.
Analyze performance data, reporting outputs, and market inputs to assess the ROI and effectiveness of promotions across different configurations and markets.
GotoMarket & Commercial Enablement
Independently conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to support new and existing product and strategy recommendations to enable market opportunity sizing and prioritization.
Help shape salesready messaging, best practices, product documentation, and enablement materials that clearly articulate value, constraints, and differentiation.
Work with regional and global partners to ensure technical realities and product maturity are accurately reflected in GTM strategies.
CrossFunctional Collaboration
Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders across Product, Sales, Solution Engineering, Analytics among others, to drive alignment.
Contribute to roadmap discussions by providing structured input on customer needs, technical feasibility, and commercial impact.
Support coordination across the broader Rewards and Loyalty teams to ensure Promotions are positioned cohesively within Mastercard's offerings.

Comfort working with technical materials (architecture diagrams, specifications, platform documentation) and synthesizing them into actionable insights.
Ability to translate complexity into clear, structured product and GTM recommendations.
Background in Product Management, Product Operations, or Product Strategy, ideally within payments, loyalty, rewards, or digital platforms.
Interest in (or experience with) promotions, loyalty programs, incentives, or customer engagement mechanics.
Understanding of how product capabilities drive commercial outcomes such as adoption, engagement, and spend.
Highly detailoriented, comfortable managing multiple priorities across many stakeholder groups.
Strong communicator, able to tailor messages for technical and nontechnical audiences.
