Growing outdoor lighting company looking for reliable team members.
Successful candidates are willing to work outdoors installing beautiful architectural lighting for landscapes. We are in search of a team player that is looking for a career with room to grow and demonstrates that desire through their actions.
As a Landscape Lighting Installer, you will support all areas of the installation, maintenance of existing system, repair, and/or replacement of low voltage electrical fixtures and equipment including but not limited to; wiring low voltage transformers, trenching/burying low voltage line, connecting low voltage fixtures, paver removal and re-installation, climbing a ladder, working in wet/coastal conditions, working in the sometimes extreme Florida weather for up to 8 hours/day, cleaning fixtures and minor landscape maintenance.

Requirements:
  • Reliable

  • Experience with landscaping, irrigation, or electrical is a plus but not necessary -
The ideal candidate should have 2+ years prior experience in one of the following:
  • Outdoor lighting installation
  • Landscaping, grounds maintenance
  • Irrigation installation

Basic Job Duties:
  • Working independently and/or as a team in support of the installation, maintenance, repair, and or replacement of low voltage LED landscape lighting equipment including but not limited to transformers, timers, lighting fixtures, bulbs, switches, sensors, sockets, and fuses.
  • Effectively able to troubleshoot issues that will arise during service calls.
  • Driving Requirement (if applicable): If selected to operate a company vehicle, you must hold a current Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record. Drivers are responsible for operating company vehicles safely, securely, and in compliance with all traffic laws.
  • Requires the knowledge and skill in the safe use of ladders, hand and power tools.
  • Attendance and punctuality are a must.
General Duties:
  • Install, service and maintain commercial and residential outdoor lighting systems.
  • Running and burying low voltage wiring in landscape, lawn and hardscape areas.
  • Mounting transformers and connecting wire runs.
  • Install, troubleshoot and repair low-voltage lighting systems.
  • Execute job installations within given parameters.
  • Clean up all areas affected by installation.
  • Coordinate and communicate with supervisors and client if necessary.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory records.
  • Ensure safety policies are understood and practiced at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Physical/Mental Demands:
  • Requires frequent bending, stooping, stretching, pulling, digging, trenching, and ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Working under regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
Essential Skills, Attributes & Requirements:
  • Preferred to have a current driver's license with no moving violations or accidents within the last three years.
  • Must make a good first impression by being well groomed, articulate, personable, and comfortable with meeting new people.
  • Treat co-workers and clients with respect and integrity.
  • Above average technical ability.
  • Attention to detail and respect for our clients' property.
  • Previous low voltage, construction, irrigation or landscaping experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right individual.
