What is a lounge assistant?

Lounge Assistants are hospitality professionals who work in airport lounges, hotels, or private clubs to ensure guests have a pleasant and comfortable experience. Their duties typically include greeting guests, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and providing information or assistance as needed. Lounge Assistants play a crucial role in delivering high-quality customer service and creating a welcoming environment. They may also handle administrative tasks, manage lounge supplies, and coordinate with other staff to meet guest needs.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a lounge assistant, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Lounge Assistant, you need strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and basic food and beverage handling knowledge, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent.
