POSITION OVERVIEW:
Price Family Dealerships is looking for a Lot Porter. The Lot Porter performs regular maintenance (non-mechanical services), moves vehicles, and performs other duties assigned by the manager, all completed in a safe and timely manner.

The Lot Porter assists both the Sales and Service Departments in maintaining the new and used car lots, and in transporting vehicles to appropriate departments for service and inventory control.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

One to three years of porter experience (preferred)

Valid Drivers' License 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Parks vehicles in accordance with policy and under direction of Sales to ensure that the lot is attractive to potential buyers.

Assist Sales and Service Staff in moving vehicles to ensure efficient dealership operations.

Responsible for adding and maintaining key tags and window stickers on all lot vehicles.

Drives vehicles to other dealerships for 'dealer swaps' or to other vendors as requested.

May pick-up or deliver customers as requested using dealership vehicles.

Requirements

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, WORK ENVIROMENTS, and WORK SCHEDULE: 

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.  Safely work with team to lift and maneuver items weighing up to 100 pounds. Stand, walk or sit for long periods of time without resting.  Ability to perform routine kneeling, crouching or crawling. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. WORK LOCATION:
This position is headquartered in Marin County CA.


JOB TYPE:

Full-time, Non-Exempt, Monday to Friday with some weekends/Holidays 


PAY RATE:

$18.00 - $22.00 / DOE
