Job description

Job Summary:
Legacy Ford is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lot Porter to support our dealership operations. The Lot Porter is responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the vehicle lot, assisting with vehicle movement, and ensuring a professional presentation of our inventory for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain organization of vehicle inventory on the lot for optimal display and easy access.

  • Move vehicles to and from service lanes, service stalls, and parking areas.

  • Assist with vehicle deliveries, including cleaning and staging.

  • Conduct visual inspections of vehicles to ensure they are clean and ready for show or delivery.

  • Ensure the lot is free of trash and debris and all vehicles are properly aligned.

  • Check in new vehicle deliveries and inspect for damage or missing equipment.

  • Fuel vehicles and check fluid levels when needed.

  • Assist with snow removal or other weather-related vehicle preparations, as applicable.

  • Provide support to service advisors and technicians as requested.

  • Adhere to all safety and dealership policies.

  • Assist with grass cutting

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

  • Ability to safely operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.

  • Strong attention to detail and time management.

  • Professional demeanor and appearance.

  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and be on your feet for extended periods.

  • Prior experience in a dealership or automotive environment preferred but not required.

Working Conditions:

  • Majority of work is performed outdoors in varying weather conditions.

  • Requires lifting, bending, walking, and standing for long periods.
