Overview

Parking Attendants (Non-Driving)

Pay Rate: $12.00 - $17.00 Per Hour

Job Type: Part-time

Location: Columbia, South Carolina

Shift & Schedule: Evenings, Weekends & Holiday

Propark Mobility is currently hiring Parking Attendants for full-time and part-time opportunities to start immediately.

Job Summary: We are seeking reliable and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Parking Attendant / Garage Attendant. This role supports operations across both parking garages and surface parking lots, ensuring efficient traffic flow, cleanliness, and excellent customer service. Employees will maintain a 750-space permit-only garage with three keycard-activated entrances, as well as assist with general parking lot operations and enforcement.

What we're looking for:*

  • Direct patrons to appropriate parking areas in garages and surface lots
  • Issue tickets and accurately record required transaction information
  • Process exception transactions (lost tickets, grace periods, etc.) according to company policy
  • Monitor and enforce permit-only parking areas
  • Complete daily shift reports, including tracking vehicle counts, transactions, validations, and lot activity
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, resolving issues, and maintaining a professional appearance
  • Assist customers experiencing difficulty with keycard access, gate entry/exit, or lot-related concerns
  • Troubleshoot minor gate or access control issues and report larger malfunctions
  • Maintain cleanliness of garages and parking lots, including picking up trash, sweeping entranceways, and emptying trash receptacles
  • Perform routine inspections of all entrances, exits, and parking areas
  • Complete minor cleaning and maintenance tasks as assigned
  • Support additional tasks or special projects as directed by management

Must haves:

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • High School degree preferred but not required.

  • Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with other employees and the parking customer.
  • Ability to provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner.
