Job Description:
We are seeking a Commercial Project Manager (CPM) to be responsible for the financial aspects of the projects and collaborate with the Project Manager. This requires working independently and across teams with varied strengths of various skills in Procurement, Finance, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Tax, and Accounting. Clear direction and communication are paramount to ensure accuracy of our financial performance and upward feedback on cost deviations. Various processes and guidelines will be applied, using different digital platforms, and ensuring compliance with applicable internal and external regulations.
Responsibilities:
  • Take full responsibility for all finance-related matters of assigned projects, including Accounting, Legal, Tax, Foreign Currencies, revenue recognition, contractual invoicing, and compliance with IFRS15, local GAAP, reporting guidelines, and internal controls.
  • Financial execution of projects including creating sale orders and setting up project in SAP, revenue recognition, invoicing and payment terms, maintenance of project costs, securities, taxes, and insurance requirements

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business or Accounting or other relevant field in the financial environment.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Commercial Project Manager (CPM) or in a Project Finance role.
  • Detailed understanding of GAAP and IFRS. Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, proficiency in Power BI & Power Query, experience with SAP.
  • Ability to handle complex accounting topics (Revenue Recognition, Loss Calculations, Cash Positions, etc.)
  • Work independently, capable at multitasking and meeting deadlines; great teammate and open to learn. Excellent problem solving, diagnosis and strong analytical skills.
  • Enthusiastic with a hands-on approach combined with the ability to provide leadership and structure in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Ability to be exacting, thorough and diligent to detail, while still meeting deadlines.
