Logistics Operations Analyst - Hickman, AR

LOCATION: HICKMAN - AR - USA

DEPARTMENT: SUPPLY CHAIN 

Purpose

Support logistics operations and supply chain activities for the Hickman facility through cost control, vendor and fleet management, and data analysis. Ensure alignment with corporate standards, operational efficiency, and reliable execution across the supply chain. Contribute to continuous improvement, project execution, and safe operations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the annual operations and supply chain budget; perform monthly cost analysis during closing cycles
  • Review cost system data to ensure alignment with corporate cost standards and identify deviations
  • Support capital investment decisions by participating in financial and operational assessments (FAIs) focused on efficiency, quality, and performance
  • Manage vendor activities, including contract administration, procurement of services and consumables, and tracking of invoices and payments
  • Oversee fleet contracts and maintenance activities across the supply chain to ensure reliability and cost control
  • Drive continuous improvement by benchmarking practices across Tenaris locations and coordinating with Operations to implement improvements
  • Lead yard-related initiatives, including system implementations, third-party yard setup, service integration, and logistics optimization
  • Promote and monitor safety programs through implementation of preventive and corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with Tenaris policies, procedures, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain operations, or industrial environment
  • Hands-on experience with Excel (macros), Power BI, PowerApps, and Power Automate
  • Working knowledge of cost analysis, vendor management, and contract administration
  • Understanding of logistics processes, fleet operations, and yard activities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams and external providers
  • Problem-solving, organization, and adaptability; working knowledge of VBA, AutoCAD, or Python is a plus
