Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Fleet & Operations Manager is the operational backbone of SINARO Logistics. You will own the daily rhythm of our delivery operation in Oxford Alabama from scheduling and rostering Delivery Associates (DAs) to managing fleet compliance and coaching your team to perform at the highest level. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly up and down the chain, and takes full ownership of outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations & Scheduling

  • Schedule and roster drivers daily to meet route commitments; post the upcoming weeks schedule at least 3 weeks in advance.
  • Maintain a contingency plan for Delivery Associate no-shows to avoid dropped routes.
  • Oversee real-time route status throughout the day and intervene when issues arise.
  • Run the daily morning stand-up, covering Amazons best practices, safety, performance recognition, and compliance.
  • Ensure dispatchers and drivers are executing their responsibilities effectively.
  • Perform ad hoc responsibilities as requested by the Business Owner.

Fleet Management

  • Manage the full DSP fleet, including scheduling maintenance, coordinating van damage repairs, and ensuring compliance with Amazons fleet standards.
  • Maintain working knowledge of fleet requirements and proactively address compliance gaps.
  • Track vehicle conditions and work with vendors to resolve mechanical and cosmetic issues efficiently.

People & Onboarding

  • Conduct weekly driver interviews and support the hiring pipeline.
  • Guide new hires through the onboarding process and add them to the scheduling platform.
  • Coach and counsel Delivery Associates on performance, compliance, and company policy.
  • Address driver concerns; escalate unresolvable issues to Senior Management.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Understand and apply company policies, data reports, and DSP compliance requirements.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the Amazon delivery driver process.
  • Ensure all business operations regarding fleet and route planning are documented and accessible.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 3+ years of experience in logistics, operations, fleet management, or a related field.
  • Hands-on familiarity with the Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) program.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams.
  • Proven ability to coach and hold team members accountable.
  • Highly organized able to answer operational questions about fleet, scheduling, and route planning on the spot.
  • Quick learner who is coachable and open to feedback.
  • Available 5 days per week with schedule flexibility based on business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years relevant experience
  • Familiar with Amazon DSP program
  • Available 5 days/week
  • Collaborative and accountable

PREFERRED

  • Associate degree in Business, Logistics, or related
  • Experience managing a DSP fleet directly
  • Proficiency with Amazon Cortex / DSP Portal
  • Experience in driver coaching and HR processes
