Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Logistic Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity in Cataño, PR within the food and beverage production industry. This role is ideal for a bilingual logistics professional with strong import/export administration experience, a solid understanding of traffic operations, and the ability to support and guide a high-performing logistics team.
The Logistic Supervisor will support daily traffic and logistics operations, help ensure compliance with documentation and customs processes, and serve as an operational point of reference for team members. This is a strong opportunity for a proactive professional who enjoys problem-solving, process improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and contributing to a stable, team-oriented environment with supportive leadership and opportunities for continued development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Traffic Manager with daily planning, task assignment, follow-up, and operational guidance for Traffic team members.
- Monitor compliance with traffic and logistics processes, including claims management, freight quotations, bookings, customs entries, cargo releases, SURI transactions, billing, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Prepare, validate, and submit shipping and import/export documentation, including ITN, BOL, EEI, invoices, receiving folders, and related logistics records.
- Use logistics platforms such as SURI, Steam Ship, ATR, Arbalet, and Workday to execute key traffic, shipping, and receiving activities.
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, warehouse operations, procurement, accounting, traffic analysts, and management to resolve issues and support domestic and international shipments.
- Act as an alternate leader in the absence of the Traffic Manager and contribute to SOP updates, KPI compliance, audit readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.
