Why This Role Matters

Pacific Fusion is seeking a highly organized and dependable Materials Coordinator to support our growing manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for receiving incoming shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting material movement throughout the facility, and ensuring parts, tools, and equipment are available where and when they are needed.

The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in organization and accuracy, and is willing to support a variety of warehouse, inventory, and logistics activities. As an early member of the operations team, you will play a critical role in helping Pacific Fusion build efficient and scalable material management processes.

What You'll Do
  • Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities and conditions 
  • against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Unload trucks and coordinate deliveries with vendors and carriers.
  • Accurately receive materials into inventory systems.
  • Label, organize, and store inventory in designated locations.
  • Deliver materials, tools, and equipment to internal customers throughout the facility.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as required.
  • Assist with shipping outgoing materials, equipment, and products.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate carrier pickups.
  • Maintain warehouse and storage areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
  • Support inventory audits and material reconciliation activities.
  • Identify inventory discrepancies and assist with corrective actions.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and material handling requirements.
  • Support other operations and logistics activities as needed.  
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, logistics, or manufacturing support roles.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Computer skills and ability to learn inventory management software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to accurately manage inventory transactions and documentation.
  • Ability to lift (up to 50 lbs) and move materials in accordance with company safety requirements.
  • Strong communication skills and customer-service mindset.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the physical ability to squat, reach, climb, prolonged periods of standing, frequent lifting of objects up to 50 lbs, and regular hands-on work with tools and equipment in the laboratory.
