Position Overview:

Americana Worldwide is immediately hiring an in-person Senior Logistics Operations Representative to join our team in Glencoe, IL. (Metra-accessible location).


We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Logistics Operations Representative to coordinate shipments, communicate with clients, and ensure smooth, on-time trade show logistics. Logistics experience required; trade show experience a plus.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing timely updates on shipments with clear, professional communication.


  • Accurately enter and manage orders with shipment details and deadlines, while coordinating team members to ensure precise, on-time execution of trade show deliveries and setups.


  • Posting loads on DAT, booking and negotiating with carriers, and vetting carriers to ensure safety, compliance, and competitive pricing.


  • Coordinate and monitor shipments, providing real-time updates to clients and proactively resolving any delays or delivery issues.


  • Identify and resolve shipment issues such as delays, damage, or venue constraints, escalating complex problems to management with clear documentation and recommended solutions.


  • Assist with billing by verifying final charges, resolving discrepancies, and verify supporting documentation.


  • Deliver exceptional customer service by anticipating client needs, resolving issues, and providing proactive, tailored solutions to build strong, long-term client relationships throughout the logistics process.
