Our Supply Chain team is looking for a Supervisor Logistics Operations to serve as an operational team leader. This role's responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating logistics activities, managing inventory, and acting as a liaison between procurement, transportation, and customers.
This position calls for a proactive problem-solver with strong organizational skills and a proficiency in Excel. Your skill set will be broadened in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, accuracy, and exceptional customer service are vital.
Success in this role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic professional setting. This role is on-site and occasional in-region travel is required, using a department-provided vehicle, to support operations across our facilities.
Shift is Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Pay starts at $21.50 with additional credit given for work experience relative to this role.

Summary

Provide leadership and work direction in the daily completion of duties associated with the warehouse management and planning, coordination of receiving, stocking, order filling, shipping, transporting and delivery of materials and supplies and/or moving and installation of equipment for the entire health system.
Supervise day-to-day operations, including the warehouse and production work, and be the point of contact for customers.

Job Description

When working in the warehouse: must meet existing flows and staging times based on volumes per day. Work with distribution team to fulfill orders, and take calls from units. Take ownership of performance appraisals. Supervise staff conformance with policies and procedures, and may be responsible for the scheduling of staff.Depending on location, may be on site continually, may be required to use Electronic Procurement Information Center (EPIC) for supply requests and may be required to pick cases for surgery. Handle all customer billing, serve at the point of contact for customer issue resolution. Coordinate Periodic Automatic Replenishment (PAR) locations equipment needs and any rental or centrally owned equipment.Verify that the staff meets job competencies, to include task reassignment as necessary, and implement disciplinary action and escalate to manager as needed. Assist the manager in the hiring process, support training and mentoring and manage (Paid Time Off) PTO requests.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency required.
Minimum of two years related experience in an operations setting required. Experience in a large organization preferred. Must possess a working knowledge of inventory systems.
Driver's license required as appropriate to position.Depending on location, may require a CDL and DOT requirements met upon hire.Depending on location, may receive on-the-job forklift training or other training as required.
