Role location: Zaventem, Belgium (hybrid working)

Travel:due to the nature of the role, regular travel will be required across the EMEA network, including the UK and Spain, to maintain strong relationships and operational oversight.

We are looking for a dynamic Warehouse Operations Manager to join our Supply Chain team in Belgium. Reporting to the Senior Manager Warehouse and Transport Operations, you will lead warehouse operations across multiple countries and 3PL partners, ensuring outstanding service, inventory accuracy, cost efficiency and operational performance throughout the network.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine strategic leadership with hands-on operational management, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners to support the delivery of innovative healthcare solutions that improve patient lives around the world.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead end-to-end warehouse operations across Hologic's EMEA warehouse network, partnering with multiple 3PL providers and internal warehouse teams.
  • Manage and develop a team of direct reports, including Warehouse Leads and Inventory Control, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
  • Establish and maintain effective governance processes with 3PL partners, ensuring consistent operational standards, service levels and performance management.
  • Define, monitor and improve operational KPIs including inventory accuracy, order fulfilment, productivity, quality and service performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, process standardisation, cost optimisation and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage warehouse budgets, forecasts and cost-control programmes while maintaining high service and compliance standards.
  • Lead operational reviews, performance reporting, issue resolution and escalation management across warehouse locations.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Service, Planning, Transportation, Quality, Finance and other key stakeholders to support business objectives.
  • Ensure inventory integrity through robust controls, cycle counting programmes and warehouse process excellence.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Educational background in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience within warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations, including people leadership responsibilities.
  • Experience managing 3PL providers and outsourced warehouse operations within a multi-site environment.
  • Track record of leading and developing teams, driving engagement, accountability and performance.
  • Experience managing operational budgets, forecasts and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management and process optimisation.
  • Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems (ideally Oracle EBS), and transportation management systems.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Comfortable operating in a complex international environment.
  • Experience within regulated industries such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare will be advantageous.
