 Total Compensation: $77,000 - $95,000 annually

Your Purpose

As the Logistics Operations Manager, you'll lead day-to-day logistics operations with a strong focus on safety, team development, operational efficiency, and customer service. You'll coordinate shipments, optimize transportation, manage equipment utilization, and help build a high-performing logistics team that keeps our business moving.

Your leadership will help Dynamic strengthen our transportation network, control costs, improve processes, and support continued business growth through smart planning, strong execution, and data-driven decisions.


What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, train, and develop a logistics team focused on safety, service, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with supervisors to ensure the team has the tools, resources, staffing, and support needed to operate effectively.
  • Plan and coordinate shipments, including driver schedules, route optimization, shipping documentation, shipment tracking, and issue resolution.
  • Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce empty miles, and maximize equipment and driver utilization.
  • Oversee fleet and equipment utilization, including maintenance schedules, asset allocation, routine audits, and recommendations for future investments.
  • Collaborate across divisions to ensure trailers, equipment, and logistics resources are aligned with operational needs.
  • Maintain high standards of compliance, including DOT regulations, FMCSA requirements, IFTA reporting, driver files, equipment files, safety procedures, and environmental regulations.
  • Drive process improvements that support safe, cost-effective, and reliable pickup and delivery operations.

What You Bring (Briefcase)

  • Associate degree in Business Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field required. Additional relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • 5-7 years of experience in fast-paced logistics, transportation, supply chain, fleet management, or related operations.
  • Proven experience overseeing pickup and delivery operations, optimizing processes, and supporting timely, efficient transportation outcomes.
  • Experience managing teams, developing talent, and creating structure in a dynamic operational environment.
  • Preferred: Operations management experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, less-than-truckload, or related fields.
  • Preferred: Experience managing or optimizing a larger driver fleet.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of electronics recycling, commodity markets, environmental regulations, and safety requirements.
  • Valid driver's license required.
    CDL, forklift experience, Prophecy TMS experience, and advanced Excel skills are preferred.

Skills & Abilities (Head)

  • Strong understanding of driver scheduling, route optimization, load planning, fleet utilization, and transportation operations.
  • Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, safety, transportation, and environmental compliance requirements.
  • Ability to use logistics systems, transportation management tools, GPS tracking, route planning tools, and data to make informed decisions.
  • Skilled in resource allocation, cost control, operational planning, and process improvement.
  • Strong organizational, communication, time management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working with budgets, operational metrics, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Able to balance daily execution with long-term improvement opportunities.
  • Effective collaborator who can work across departments, divisions, and leadership levels to solve problems and keep operations aligned.
