Job Summary
The Logistics Operations Associate will perform a variety of daily functions supporting logistics operations, including picking/packing, shipping and receiving, inventory management, and warehouse activities. A strong focus on safety and productivity is required in all tasks.


Essential Job Functions

  • Accept packages from various couriers; complete delivery worksheets in Excel, track Certificates of Analysis (CofA) from vendors, assist with labeling and storing GMP materials, and deliver items to appropriate parties.
  • Receive materials, process and create labels, and prepare materials for QA inspection.
  • Prepare, package, and label materials for shipping using multiple carrier shipping software, supporting global distribution while meeting regulatory and material preservation requirements.
  • Enter and maintain data in SAP to ensure accuracy and integrity for effective operations.
  • Check and file packing slips.
  • Store and maintain inventory to ensure location and count accuracy, enabling proper replenishment and inventory counts.
  • Unlock bulk tank gates and complete bulk tank acceptance forms.
  • Recommend opportunities to improve systems and processes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and drive faster, more accurate outcomes.
  • Order supplies as required.
  • Perform other job functions as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant logistics experience with demonstrated achievements and increasing responsibilities
  • DOT and IATA certification, or the ability to obtain
  • Operational capability with ERP solutions, ideally including SAP
  • Demonstrated proficiency in multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment without compromising attention to detail or accuracy
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout a standard workday
