LOGISTEED America is seeking an Export Logistics Coordinator to join our Export Operations team in Mineola, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in learning the logistics industry and developing a long-term career with a global transportation and supply chain organization. No freight forwarding experience is required. We provide on-the-job training and opportunities to learn international shipping, export operations, customer service, and transportation coordination. If you are organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and eager to learn, we'd like to hear from you.What You'll DoAs an Export Logistics Coordinator, you will help coordinate domestic and international shipments while supporting customers, carriers, warehouses, and internal operations teams.Key responsibilities include:
  • Coordinate export shipments using air, ocean, and ground transportation services
  • Prepare, review, and process shipping and export documentation
  • Ensure shipments comply with customer requirements and transportation regulations
  • Communicate with customers, carriers, warehouses, and overseas partners to facilitate timely deliveries
  • Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate records and shipment data within company systems
  • Prioritize multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Support inventory verification, shipment labeling, packing, and shipment preparation activities as operational needs require
  • Assist with safety initiatives and quality standards
  • Participate in cross-training opportunities within Export Operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Approximately two-thirds of work time is spent in a climate-controlled office environment, with the remaining time spent in a warehouse setting
