This position is hybrid, and will be based out of our Ferrero Caribe offices in Guaynabo, PR.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Order Management:
    • Ensuring seamless customer order processing, striving to meet service level targets by proactively managing orders throughout fulfillment process. Review open orders, back-orders, and identity and resolve delays in order processing.
  • Order fulfillment:
    • Develop solid relationships with the 3rd Party Logistics providers to guarantee that orders are fulfilled according to customer expectations. This includes tracking deliveries, resolving issues with returned products or issues during picking and delivery.
  • Customer Communication:
    • Serve as contact for order-status inquiries; provide shipment updates, provide delivery information, report delays, and report shortages.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination:
    • Work closely with Sales, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Procurement and 3PL to support customer orders; facilitate communication between departments to prevent service disruptions and support resolution of bottlenecks.
  • Inventory & Material Tracking:
    • Monitor inventory availability against open orders and track material shortages and root cause.
  • Logistics Coordination:
    • Coordinate shipments with carriers and freight providers, track deliveries, monitor transportation schedules and delivery performance, and resolve shipping discrepancies and delivery issues.
  • Shipping Documents and Certificates:
    • Manage the preparation of all needed customs documents and certificates for each order to ensure seamless receipt by customer.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
    • Drive continuous improvement in operations by tracking key KPIs such as on-time delivery rate, order fill rate, customer service level, returns and refusals, and order cycle time
  • PO Processing:
    • Create all Supply Chain POs for payment to vendors. Verify invoices vs service received and GR. Work closely with Finance to ensure payment to vendors by agreed payment terms.

About You:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, logistics, supply chain, transportation, or order management
  • Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA
  • Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Lookups, reporting, and data analysis
  • Experience with Power BI, SAP BW, or other reporting tools
  • Strong understanding of order management, inventory management, and logistics operations
  • Experience coordinating with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), carriers, or vendors
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in English and Spanish

Preferred
  • Experience in a consumer goods, manufacturing, or distribution environment
  • Knowledge of customs, import/export documentation, and international shipping requirements
  • Experience tracking and reporting supply chain KPIs and service level metrics
