JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for supporting overall warehouse operations in all areas, including receiving, storage, replenishment, order picking, shipping, and distribution. This role is key in inventory control and accuracy through the execution of cycle counts and monitoring of expired or soon-to-expire products. In addition, the employee must ensure compliance with internal procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards established by the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Download weekly inventory reports from the Enterprise Resource Planning (“ERP”) platform, such as Acumatica, to monitor soon-to-expire merchandise and coordinate product removal or disposal.
  2. Create, update, and maintain archived inventory reports and related documentation.
  3. Perform cycle counts and inventory audits, comparing physical results with system records, making adjustments, and documenting discrepancies.
  4. Investigate the root cause of inventory variances and communicate findings to the Supervisor to identify and implement process improvements.
  5. Anticipate future needs based on consumption, trends, and inventory demand.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inventory transactions.
  7. Inspect and monitor inventory to identify expired, damaged, or soon-to-expire products both physically and in the system, following established procedures for disposal of soon-to-expire products.
  8. Separate, label, and move expired products to the designated quarantine area or remove them from inventory.
  9. Keep the assigned area clean, organized, and orderly.
  10. Relocate and reorganize merchandise from storage locations to outgoing shipment areas to improve accessibility and control, and update system data accordingly.
  11. Cover absences or vacation periods assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor for the following positions: Warehouse Clerk, Shipping Clerk, Receiving Clerk, Runner, and/or Auxiliary Runner, following established operational procedures for each role.
  12. Perform daily, weekly, or monthly cycle counts according to the established schedule.
  13. Document cycle count results on the physical inventory count sheet and maintain supporting evidence in the folder in accordance with internal policies.
  14. Participate in annual physical inventory counts.
  15. Ensure compliance with FIFO/FEFO processes as applicable.
  16. Report incidents, accidents, damages, or unsafe conditions immediately to the Supervisor.
  17. Comply with traceability procedures, lot control, and quality standards.
  18. Handle products according to established procedures to prevent losses or damage.
  19. Identify improvements in warehouse processes, distribution, material flow, and inventory to increase efficiency and reduce losses.
  20. Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and logistics teams to ensure timely inventory availability.
  21. Wear a hard hat, safety shoes, and reflective vest at all times while inside warehouse facilities.
  22. Actively contribute to maintaining the company’s mission and achieving its vision; and demonstrate through performance and conduct the philosophy of a culture of efficiency, the values of Bionuclear, and the principles of the highest quality internal and external customer service.
  23. Fully and consistently comply with departmental and company policies and procedures as published or as may be issued in the future, including but not limited to the Employee Handbook.

INCIDENTAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Ensure that no employee, client, or visitor enters the warehouse without a hard hat or appropriate safety equipment.
  2. Support the Warehouse Supervisor or Logistics Manager in investigations related to inventory discrepancies.
  3. Support return, claims, or merchandise disposal processes in accordance with company policies.
  4. Support Receiving, Shipping, and/or Runner functions as required.
  5. Other duties as necessary.

EDUCATION
High school diploma.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory control functions.
• Minimum of two (2) years performing cycle counts, audits, or inventory counts.
• Experience operating forklift and hand truck equipment.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Valid Category 4 driver’s license and clean driving record.

NATURALEZA DEL PUESTO
El titular de este puesto es responsable de brindar apoyo a las operaciones generales del almacén en todas sus áreas, incluyendo recibo, almacenamiento, reabastecimiento, preparación de órdenes, despacho y distribución. Este puesto tiene un rol clave en el control y precisión del inventario mediante la ejecución de conteos cíclicos y el monitoreo de productos expirados o próximos a expirar. Además, deberá asegurar el cumplimiento con los procedimientos internos, normas de seguridad y estándares de calidad establecidos por la empresa.

DEBERES Y RESPONSABILIDADES ESENCIALES DEL PUESTO

  1. Descargar semanalmente el reporte de inventario de la plataforma de planificación de recursos empresariales (“ERP”, por sus siglas en inglés), tales como Acumatica, para monitorear la mercancía próxima a expirar y coordinar retiro o disposición del producto.
  2. Crear, actualizar y mantener archivados los reportes y documentación relacionada al inventario.
  3. Realizar conteos cíclicos y auditorías de inventario, comparando resultados físicos con registros del sistema, realizando ajustes y documentando discrepancias.
  4. Investigar la causa raíz de variaciones en la mercancía del inventario y comunicarle al Supervisor para identificar y aplicar mejoras al proceso.
  5. Anticipar necesidades futuras basadas en consumo, tendencias y demanda en el inventario.
  6. Mantener registros precisos y actualizados de todas las transacciones de inventario.
  7. Inspeccionar y monitorear el inventario para identificar productos expirados, dañados o próximos a vencer tanto de forma física como en el sistema, siguiendo el procedimiento establecido de disposición de productos próximos a expirarse.
  8. Separar, rotular y trasladar productos expirados al área designada de cuarentena o retirarlos del inventario.
  9. Mantener el área asignada limpia, recogida y organizada.
  10. Reubicar y reorganizar la mercancía de una localización de almacenaje a localización de salida para mejorar accesibilidad y control y actualizar la data en el sistema.
  11. Cubrir ausencias o período de vacaciones asignados por el Supervisor de los siguientes puestos: Empleado de Almacén, Despacho, Empleado de Almacén, Recibo, Carrero y/o Carreo Auxiliar siguiendo los procesos operacionales establecidos para cada puesto.
  12. Ejecutar conteos cíclicos diarios, semanales o mensuales según calendario establecido.
  13. Documentar resultados de conteos en la hoja de conteo físico de inventario y mantener evidencia en el folder conforme a políticas internas.
  14. Participar en inventarios físicos generales que se trabajan una vez al año.
  15. Asegurar cumplimiento con procesos FIFO/FEFO según aplique.
  16. Reportar incidentes, accidentes, daños o condiciones inseguras de inmediato a su Supervisor.
  17. Cumplir con procedimientos de trazabilidad, control de lotes y estándares de calidad.
  18. Manejar productos conforme a procedimientos establecidos para evitar pérdidas o daños.
  19. Identificar mejoras a los procesos de almacén, distribución, flujo de materiales e inventario para aumentar la eficiencia y reducir pérdidas.
  20. Colaborar con los equipos de compras, ventas y logística para asegurar la disponibilidad de inventario en tiempo y forma.
  21. Llevar puestos el capacete, los zapatos de seguridad y el arnés reflectivo en todo momento mientras se encuentre en las instalaciones físicas del Almacén.
  22. Aportar activamente al mantenimiento de la misión y al logro de la visión de la compañía; y ejemplificar con su desempeño y conducta la filosofía de la cultura de eficiencia, los valores de Bionuclear y los principios de un servicio al cliente interno y externo de la más alta calidad.

PREPARACIÓN ACADÉMICA
Cuarto año de escuela superior.

EXPERIENCIA PROFESIONAL

• Experiencia mínima de un año en funciones de Almacén, logística o control de inventario.
• Experiencia mínima de dos años realizando cycle count, auditorías o conteos de inventario.
• Experiencia manejando equipo de montacargas y “hand truck”.

EXPERIENCIA PROFESIONAL
Licencia de conducir categoría 4 vigente y buen expediente de conductor.
