Invoice Data Entry Clerk Job Overview 
The Lee Group is seeking detail-oriented Invoice Data Entry Clerks for one of our valued clients in Newport News, VA. This position plays a vital role in supporting the Shipping and Logistics team by processing invoices, maintaining shipping documentation, and performing administrative tasks to ensure daily operations run efficiently. The ideal candidate has excellent data entry skills, strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse office environment. Job Responsibilities of Invoice Data Entry Clerks 
  • Process, route, and manage invoices for sales orders.  
  • Prepare and process shipping and logistics documentation.  
  • Transport shipping documents between the warehouse and office.  
  • Assist with freight bill processing and direct billing activities.  
  • Support damage claim processing by addressing issues and concerns.  
  • Generate and apply shipping labels to ensure accurate product delivery.  
  • Assist the Sales team with order printing, order processing, and inventory control.  
  • Utilize multiple computer systems to accurately process information and maintain records.  
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following established safety procedures.  
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.  
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business operations.  

Job Qualifications of Invoice Data Entry Clerks 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.  
  • One to two years of data entry experience preferred.  
  • Warehouse logistics or shipping experience preferred.  
  • Strong computer and data entry skills.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Excel.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills.
