About This Position

You will provide administrative, financial, and operational support to the food service management team. Responsibilities include assisting with accounts payable and receivable processing, preparing financial spreadsheets and reports, tracking overtime, maintaining attendance records, and managing incoming communications. You will also support Net Menu system operations by producing and retrieving production packages, monitoring reporting accuracy, and performing data entry and reporting tasks. Additional tasks include maintaining safety and compliance information, completing general office functions, providing operational support and assisting with staffing coverage to help ensure efficient daily operations.

You will report to a Food Service Director. This position is located onsite inside of a jail/correctional facility.

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

  • Help with the posting and collection of receivables and payables for both client billing and accounts payable invoices.
  • Help prepare spread sheets for weekly and monthly financial report outs.
  • Daily tracking of Overtime supplying the information to General Manager and Food Service Director.
    • Become proficient in Net Menu. This will include:Producing and retrieving production packages.
    • Monitor voids in reporting by production team.
    • Data entry and roll-up as instructed by Management team.
  • Maintain safety bulletin board and other information needed by food service team.
  • Monitor all incoming calls and messages.
  • Maintain attendance records.
  • Fill-in for occasional voids in staffing as assigned by Management.
  • Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

  • High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience. Must be at least 18 years of age.
