Logistics Associate for a contract assignment with one of our clients in Dodge Center, MN . 40 hours per week, 100% onsite
The Logistics Associate will contribute to the design, development and maintenance of the logistics system. Coordination of logistics routing, consolidation of freight and providing system metrics are main responsibilities of this role to support the Corporation's requirements. The Logistics Associate will also establish and review routing and delivering material from origins into manufacturing locations as well as product to customers and dealers
Responsibilities:
  • Schedule, cover, dispatch and trace freight either inbound or outbound (including expedites).
  • Monitor routes/lanes/shipments for compliance and conformance by service providers.
  • Communicate with carriers on performance and opportunities.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with carriers.
  • Support maintenance and implementation of Long-Term Agreements with carrier partners.
  • Provide support in the development of requirements, quote packages, data gathering, evaluation and analysis of bid packages.

Required Skills:
  • 2 years of logistics experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail.
  • Strong time-management and prioritization skills, able to multi-task and prioritize competing requirements and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where requirements are constantly changing.
