Compensation:  

$52,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year

Schedule:  

Monday - Friday, 12:00pm - 8:00pm with Saturdays as needed

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Schedule and assign drivers to delivery routes.
  • Coordinate deliveries to meet client deadlines and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain a pool of independent contractor drivers and recruit new contractors as needed.
  • Manage billing and driver settlements daily using eCourier software.
  • Prepare and submit reports for clients and management.
  • Attend weekly meetings to review service levels and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Conduct meetings with independent contractors to address performance or concerns.
  • Cover open shifts or deliver routes in emergency situations.
  • Be available for non-traditional hours, including on-call or weekends.
  • Some travel may be required, with mileage reimbursement provided.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in logistics and customer service.
  • Availability for on-call shifts
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift 0-50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with dispatch systems or dispatch management.
  • Previous experience with independent contractors.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
