Lynch Truck Center is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team! As a Logistics Coordinator, you'll work on-site with our team coordinating deliveries and pick up of vehicles, manage and schedule around 20 drivers on nationwide deliveries, stocking incoming vehicles, ensure all licensing and safety requirements are met, as well as direct partnership between our sales and service departments on a daily basis. We are seeking someone who is highly organized, thrives in a fast paced environment, and takes pride in ensuring safety, compliance, and exceptional service to our customers.


Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm

Responsibilities

  • Working with both the Sales and Service Department, oversee the delivery/pick up of vehicles and other transportation needs
  • Maintain that all drivers' licensing is current and in compliance with requirements for operation of specific vehicles
  • Handle accident reports, driving evaluations, and vehicle safety
  • Maintain fleet of company owned vehicles
  • Schedule/make travel arrangements for drivers traveling to customers out of state
  • Oversee scheduling of approximately 20 drivers
  • Work with HR to hire and maintain employees
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients
Requirements:

Requirements

  • A CDL license is preferred, or the ability to obtain a CDL license
  • Must have an in-depth understanding of DOT requirements
  • Ability to operate a commercial vehicle
  • Ability to read maps proficiently
  • Basic computer skills
