Job Description
Summary:
The Logistics Specialist will assist in scheduling and tracking TEI shipments from the start to the finish.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Follow TEI guided procedures, work instructions and SOPs to ensure products flow through the logistics process accordingly.
  • Assist and analyze problems with designated shipments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of Dot requirements.
  • Ensure equipment and parts are moved safely and timely
  • Maintain a current Texas Driver's License.
  • Maintain logistics logs as defined by the Supply Chain Manager.
  • Identify gaps in logistic request inputs and communicate back to requestors timely of missing requirements.
  • Ensure all shipments have all required information including referenced PO# or an approval from the Supply Chain manager prior to scheduling.
  • Other tasks assigned by the Senior Logistics Coordinator.

Qualifications:
  • Administratively organized and accurate.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to set priorities and take initiative.
  • High ethical standard.
  • Good communication skills with internal and external contacts.
