Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Logistics Assistant to work on-site with our client, the world's largest producer of medicine and vaccinations for pets and livestock.
 
This position is responsible for supporting inventory and planning functions for Production Assembly. The individual in this position will work with inventory and logistics colleagues to fulfill material work orders, perform cycle counts, asses inventory part requirements/safety stock levels, and provide excellent customer service.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate inventory balances through participation in cycle count program.
  • Fulfill manufacturing shop and customer orders to ensure timely delivery in support of device forecasts and demands.
  • Analyze trends to improve inventory accuracy and reduce inventory value.
  • Support Inventory Planner as needed.
  • Support Logistics functions as needed (Shipping, Receiving)
Education and Experience
  • High School degree required
  • Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Willingness to work in a team environment, and exhibit flexibility in the variety of work executed by the Global Inventory and Logistics team.
  • Ability to effectively communicate to internal customers and external suppliers in a variety of formats.
  • Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain or other related field (preferred)
  • SAP Experience (preferred)
