Description

The Production Coordinator, PR Content is a highly organized, process-driven production professional who serves as the primary coordination point between Syneos Health Public Relations teams and BoldSky Content Production.

This role is responsible for the intake, coordination, tracking, and management of video, audio, photography, and digital content requests originating from the PR side of the business. With a strong emphasis on Wrike task management, workflow coordination, and cross-functional communication, the Production Coordinator ensures PR-driven content projects are properly scoped, routed, scheduled, and supported from intake through delivery.
This position is ideal for someone who excels at systems, organization, and collaboration, and who enjoys enabling creative execution by keeping projects clear, aligned, and moving forward.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
PR Content Intake & Request Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for content production requests from Syneos PR teams
  • Manage the intake of video, audio, photography, and digital content projects, ensuring requests are complete, clear, and properly documented
  • Partner with PR stakeholders to clarify objectives, timelines, deliverables, and required assets prior to production kickoff
  • Route approved requests to BoldSky Content Production producers and creative teams based on scope, capacity, and timelines
Wrike Task Management & Workflow Coordination
  • Own and manage Wrike task creation, organization, and maintenance for all PR-driven production projects
  • Translate PR requests into structured Wrike tasks, timelines, dependencies, and milestones
  • Maintain accurate project status, due dates, and ownership within Wrike
  • Monitor workloads and flag resourcing or timeline risks to production leadership
  • Ensure Wrike remains the single source of truth for PR content production activity
Project Coordination & Production Support
  • Coordinate production timelines across multiple concurrent PR projects
  • Support senior producers by managing schedules, deliverables, and day-to-day project logistics
  • Track progress across pre-production, production, and post-production phases
  • Ensure projects move efficiently through each stage without bottlenecks or gaps in communication
Cross-Functional Communication & Alignment
  • Act as a liaison between PR teams, BoldSky producers, creative partners, and post-production teams
  • Communicate clearly and proactively regarding project status, next steps, and delivery expectations
  • Support PR teams by organizing project information, updates, and timelines in a clear and consistent manner
  • Ensure alignment between PR priorities and production capacity

Content Types & Platform Awareness

  • Coordinate a wide range of PR-driven content, including:
  • Executive and leadership videos
  • Media interview support and b-roll
  • Patient and healthcare professional stories
  • Audio content and podcasts
  • Social-first and digital PR content
  • Photography and visual assets
Post-Production Coordination & Delivery
  • Coordinate post-production workflows by tracking:
  • Editorial timelines
  • Review and approval cycles
  • Versioning and final deliveries
  • Support transcription, captioning, and asset organization as needed for PR use cases
  • Ensure final assets are delivered accurately and on schedule to PR teams
Operational Excellence & Documentation
  • Maintain organized documentation for PR production projects, including:
  • Review and approval cycles
  • Project briefs and intake details
  • Schedules and timelines
  • Asset lists and delivery notes
  • Follow established production workflows, standards, and best practices
  • Identify opportunities to improve PR intake processes, Wrike workflows, and cross-team collaboration
PREFERRED EXPERTISE
  • Experience supporting or coordinating content production for public relations, communications, or corporate affairs teams
  • Strong experience using Wrike or comparable project management platforms in a production or agency environment
  • Familiarity with healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries
  • Experience working within integrated marketing, PR, or agency environments
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media Production, Marketing, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2-4 years of experience in production coordination, project coordination, or content operations
  • Exceptional organizational and task-management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

The anticipated hourly rate for the position is $50 but may vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role.
