Job Description

We are seeking aLogistics Admin to join our Logistics/ Order Management team. In this role, you will work with and communicate cross-functionally with internal customers, multiple departments and teams.

This team monitors daily backlogs of orders/deliveries shipping from our Memphis/Cedar Creek sites as well as processing non-standard orders. Team member will work closely with other Logistics teams globally.

Principal duties and responsibilities

  • Maintain sales orders to ensure they are updated as engineering changes are implemented.
  • Attend meetings as a representative of the team to exchange information with other departments.
  • Provide accurate, timely, and up-to-date order status to requestors via email, database tools, verbally, or other methods.
  • Report proactive order status in times of heavy backlog or longer than expected lead times.
  • Processes Internal orders, No Charge orders, and other non-standard orders and ensures timely shipment and reporting.
  • Ensure sales orders are rescheduled and shipments are processed as material becomes available.
  • Work with Customer Service/Sales Reps globally to ensure order accuracy, and timely removal of delivery blocks preventing shipment or billing blocks preventing invoicing.
  • Adapt to changing priorities, multi-task, and prioritize work to successfully accomplish job duties.
  • DEFOA - Defective on arrival. Investigate, document, and review defective shipments for further actioning.
  • S&OE - Sales & Operation Execution; represent Order management in cross functional forums, providing review and updates related to order backlog.
  • Extract data from SAP or other tools for reporting and data analysis.
  • Returns - Review inbound return shipments, investigate discrepancies or issues, and document all findings for appropriate followup actions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm or 9:30 am - 6:00 pm; Training: 7:00 AM - 3:30 pm

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or General Equivalent Diploma (GED) required. Some level of further education/formal training are preferred.
  • Minimum 1-year relevant experience in similar role
  • Experience creating and maintaining spreadsheets/documents in Microsoft Word/Excel
  • Requires accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize most critical action items/orders.
  • ERP systems knowledge, with SAP experience is strongly preferred.
  • Effective planning skills are an asset, though not essential.

This job has a full time weekly schedule. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
