Job description

Position Summary:

The Parts Operations Manager will oversee and manage daily parts activities across multiple locations, ensuring alignment with the Company's Vision, Values, Mission, and strategic initiatives. This leader will drive talent development and engagement, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Supply chain and logistics experience is preferred, as the role requires optimizing operations and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a superior customer experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and mentor teams across multiple locations, driving engagement and high performance.
  • Evaluate and maintain Parts Department procedures and policies to ensure operational excellence.
  • Lead talent development initiatives, including coaching, training, and succession planning.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Perform audits for each Parts Department and implement improvements as needed.
  • Collaborate actively with Product Support Sales, Service, Machine Sales, and Rental teams.
  • Utilize supply chain and logistics expertise to optimize inventory management, distribution, and fulfillment processes.
  • Visit all parts locations to maintain efficient operations, and coach/mentor the team
  • Coordinate function of all Parts Department systems, processes, procedures and records

Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams across multiple locations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to motivate, evaluate, and develop employee performance.
  • Planning skills to forecast department requirements and set standards.
  • Experience in supply chain and logistics operations preferred.
  • Ability to learn and understand all aspects of parts operations and their impact on company goals.
  • Ability to maintain and develop reporting systems for management information.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related degree OR minimum of 5 years' experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations management.
  • Demonstrated success in a leadership role; managing across multiple locations is preferred.
  • Experience with modern ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) and advanced computer skills required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to motivate, evaluate, and develop employee performance.
  • Planning skills to forecast department requirements and set standards.
  • Ability to maintain and develop reporting systems for management information.
