Job Description:
NOW HIRING: Bilingual Event Manager
Compensation: $65,000-$75,000 per year
Shift: M-F 8a-5p, flexibility required based on business needs, event activity and weekend coverage
Job Overview
The Bilingual Event Manager is responsible for leading event support and custodial teams in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This role oversees the setup and breakdown of event equipment including tables, chairs, staging, and related assets while coordinating custodial resources to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming experience.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the end-user experience, working directly with customers, internal stakeholders, and frontline employees to deliver exceptional service before, during, and after events.
Roles & Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Lead and supervise event setup and custodial personnel
  • Coordinate event logistics including staging, tables, chairs, and room configurations
  • Manage scheduling, staffing, and labor allocation based on event demand
  • Conduct hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and termination activities as needed
  • Partner with customers and stakeholders to understand requirements and respond to changing priorities
  • Perform site inspections to ensure service quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain clear communication with employees, customers, and leadership
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to operations, staffing, and service delivery
  • Assist with administrative tasks including reporting, scheduling, and workforce planning
  • Provide training to staff and community partners who use the Event Management.
  • Provide guidance in resolving issues.
  • Comply with company safety rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Stops at risk behavior of others and self.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Bilingual in Spanish required

Education and/ or Experience
High school diploma / GED
4 years relevant experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
May be required to have a valid driver's license
Must complete all safety and task training certifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Customer service, problem solving, time management, project management, planning, excellent communication, presentation, interviewing, coaching and training skills.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
Must be able to read basic floor plans. Ability to change tasks or assignments outside normal duties. Work in a team environment
Supervisory Responsibilities
Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.
