Job description

Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Operation Supply Chain Manager.
What you'll do:
Responsible for managing the internal materials & scheduling processes required inside an Eaton factory to drive the maximum adherence to the Master Production Schedule provided by the Network Planning team through the SIOP process.
Ensures compliance to all company rules, policies, procedures, and programs in support of the established goals and objectives. Builds organizational capability throughout the department. Lead and/or support any project or initiatives as required by business needs or as requested by upper management.
Essential Functions:
• Responsible for managing materials flow and transactions inventory to support the plant's operations by deploying lean material flow.
• Responsible for the administration of Indirect and MRO purchasing function according to policies and practices determined by Eaton standards.
• Responsible for generating short-term production scheduling aligned the plan defined by the Network.
• Responsible for monitoring execution of production schedule defined by the Network (schedule labor on factory floor, monitor execution of the production plan).
• Responsible for escalation of material availability to the COE and Network teams.
• Drive forecast attainment aligned with the MPS resulted from the SIOP plan.
• Execute shipment schedule aligned with the customer priority dates aligned with the network and customer service team.
• Champion and deploy continuous improvement leveraging tools such as internal assessments (MMA, OPA), visual management, standard work, and value stream mapping.
• Responsible for maintaining target inventory levels and meeting OTD goals for both internal and external customers and overall freight targets (including premium freight) aligned with the plan defined by the network.
• Responsible for plant owned data health activities including but not limited to routings and WMS system, MRO, shipping and receiving, part movements, production scheduling. his role is a point of contact to escalations related to execution of the overall SIOP plan.
Qualifications:
1. Education: College Degree in Engineering, Business Administration/Management or Materials Management; MBA preferred,
2. Experience: Minimum five (5) years' combined experience in Materials, Operations and/or Supply Chain Management within a manufacturing environment - Minimum three (3) years of manager of people experience.
3. Required Skills:
a. Strong leadership and communication skills

c. Excellent Communication Skills- Spanish/ English
d. Strong problem-solving analytical skills
e. Knowledge within the four functional areas
f. Knowledge of ERP Systems
g. Experience with Lean Manufacturing

i. Experience in supporting cross-functional SIOP and Inventory management processes.
j. Technical knowledge of forecasting techniques, bill of material structuring and scheduling execution
k. In-depth knowledge of plant manufacturing processes and value streams from raw materials to finished product
l. APICS CPIM Certification is desirable
Additional Information:
Managerial / Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Production Planner - Organizes, manages, and schedules production workflows as per MPS. Adjust as necessary within FROZEN PLANNING PERIOD to maximize adherence to plan. Will escalate expected material not arriving on site and coordinate with Network Scheduler and CoE
• Indirect Proc. Execution - Supports cost out execution and CI/Ops/Eng teams to drive approvals such as specification changes, consumption reduction initiatives
• Logistics Execution - Schedules transportation with suppliers to support production. Includes customs handling / GTM. but NO sourcing/pricing
• Material Handling & Inventory Accuracy - Maintain accurate records of material holdings Ensures material is in right place, at right time

• Fast paced manufacturing operation with dynamic customer orders that supplies the world with product manufactured in the Caribbean with a low percentage of local suppliers.

Contact GTM Divisional Manager and escalate any government inquiries and suspected non- compliance.
Roles and Responsibilities of the Managerial Personnel:

1. Providing the necessary training to all the associates.
2. Attending security training is required.
3. Taking disciplinary action in case of violation to the rules of health and security of the plant.
4. Being attentive to the prevention of accidents in your area.
5. Support EHS System as required
