Job Description Summary

As a Senior Market Logistics Dispatcher, you will act as the liaison and team leader for the Market Logistics Dispatchers with regard to the transportation and delivery employees of Market Logistic Operations to ensure prompt receipt and delivery of equipment from/to customers and other Sunbelt stores in accordance with customer expectations along with company and DOT standards. This position under the direction of the Market Logistic Operations Manager will also temporarily fill in when Logistics Manager's are not present.

Review daily and weekly driver logs in accordance with company and DOT standards.

Maintain and rectify any Hours-of-Service violations or unidentified logs.

Monitor and action First Run Out and Time on Yard reporting to improve truck utilization and driver efficiency.

Training lead for any new hires into the MLO operations.

Scheduling Truck Repairs to improve truck efficiency.

Investigate escalated from the Logistics Manager on customer complaints in a professional manner in order to resolve the complaint to the satisfaction of the customer and Sunbelt.

Provide adequate feedback to the Counter and Service Departments regarding the timely delivery and receipt of equipment when necessary.

Follow Standard Operating Procedures

Requirements: Education & Experience: High School Education

Working knowledge of the DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations

Logistics or Dispatching experience

Customer Service experience required

Able to effectively communicate.

Base Pay Range: $74,509.00 - 102,449.60
