Job description

The Logistic Coordinator plays a critical role in managing both domestic and international shipping processes within a large logistics team. Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager and collaborating closely with the Operations Manager and Supply Chain Director, this role ensures smooth coordination of shipment schedules, inventory, vendor relations, and transportation planning. The position requires regular travel to warehouses and distribution centers, as well as occasional vendor visits, to monitor and optimize supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate shipments domestically and internationally
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy of order processing
  • Coordinate with vendors to confirm delivery timelines and resolve issues
  • Plan and oversee transportation logistics to optimize costs and timing
  • Handle necessary documentation for shipments and compliance monitoring
  • Communicate proactively with customers regarding shipment status and inquiries
  • Track supply chain metrics and provide regular data reporting
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements across logistics operations

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in logistics coordination
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Expertise in supply chain management, inventory control, and transportation coordination
  • Familiarity with warehousing practices and ERP software
  • Strong skills in data analysis, communication, problem solving, and time management
