LHH is partnering with an innovative manufacturing organization in Tomball, TX to identify a Supply Chain Coordinator to support a rapidly growing operation. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on supply chain professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys building processes, solving operational challenges, and making a direct impact on business performance. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing supply chain operations, inventory management, logistics coordination, materials planning, and ERP systems. This position will serve as a key partner to operations, engineering, and leadership while helping establish scalable supply chain processes in a growing startup environment. Key Responsibilities Supply Chain & Logistics Coordination
  • Coordinate inbound material deliveries from suppliers to support production schedules.
  • Track shipments and proactively manage delivery timelines to ensure material availability.
  • Collaborate with vendors, freight carriers, and logistics providers to resolve transportation and delivery issues.
  • Coordinate outbound shipments of finished goods to customers and distribution partners.
  • Prepare shipping documentation including bills of lading, packing slips, and carrier paperwork.
  • Provide shipment status updates to internal stakeholders and customers as needed.
Inventory Management & Materials Planning
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain inventory accuracy within the ERP system.
  • Support material forecasting and replenishment planning activities.
  • Identify and help mitigate material shortages or excess inventory situations.
  • Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliation efforts.
  • Support production planning and scheduling activities to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Maintain proper inventory transactions and material movement records.
Receiving & Warehouse Operations
  • Receive incoming materials, components, and equipment.
  • Verify shipments against purchase orders and receiving documentation.
  • Inspect incoming materials for quantity, identification, and potential damage.
  • Coordinate with quality and operations teams regarding material disposition and inspections.
  • Label, store, stage, and move inventory within the facility as needed.
  • Support material kitting and production staging activities.
ERP & Process Improvement
  • Utilize ERP systems daily to manage inventory, orders, planning activities, and supply chain transactions.
  • Support implementation and adoption of Odoo ERP systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, inventory controls, and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with developing and documenting new supply chain processes as the organization scales.
Qualifications Required Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, materials planning, inventory control, shipping/receiving, or related operations roles.
  • Experience within a manufacturing, industrial, production, or distribution environment.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, material flow, and production support.
  • Experience coordinating supplier deliveries, logistics activities, and transportation providers.
  • Hands-on ERP system experience with inventory and supply chain transactions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and business systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Business, or related field.
  • Experience with warehouse management and inventory control processes.
  • Knowledge of domestic and international shipping procedures.
  • Familiarity with production planning and scheduling principles.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Experience supporting ERP implementations or process improvement initiatives.
