Job description

The Director of Logistics manages Team Grateful's operational logistics including resource management, supply chain coordination, facilities oversight, and service delivery operations. This leader ensures that all programs run efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with the organization's mission and standards across every area of the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operational logistics including transportation, supply chain, and resource allocation across the organization.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies that directly support effective program delivery and community service.
  • Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes, ensuring quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor and continuously optimize operational workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate logistics for organizational events, outreach activities, and all service delivery operations.
  • Develop and manage the logistics department budget with transparency and fiscal accountability.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, organizational policies, and applicable legal requirements.
  • Supervise logistics staff, driver teams, and transport personnel with strong mentorship and oversight.
  • Prepare and present logistics performance reports and operational metrics to organizational leadership.
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, service disruptions, and inefficiencies.
