Job description

Healthcare’s helping hand. CHG shook things up in 1979 by inventing the locum tenens staffing model. We connect doctors with patients who need their care. As the largest physician staffing firm in America, our providers treat millions of patients each year. Our industry is growing and demand is high. This means you’ll have plenty of opportunities to grow and develop in your career. Keeping healthcare healthy can be as fun as it is rewarding

CHG Healthcare’s Data & Analytics division is looking for an experienced React Engineer to join our Data & Analytics Platform team. The Data & Analytics Platform team is modernizing CHG’s enterprise reporting and analytics experiences by migrating them to React applications hosted in Snowflake. As a React Engineer on the Data & Analytics Platform team you will write production code and ship reporting features, while also helping train data and analytics engineers, BI developers, and analysts on React so the broader team can contribute to and maintain what’s built. This role will report to the Director of Data Engineering.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain React applications delivering reporting and analytics experiences hosted in Snowflake.
  • Translate existing Tableau dashboards and new reporting requirements into performant, maintainable React components.
  • Partner with data and analytics engineers to connect front‑end applications to Snowflake data sources and semantic models.
  • Provide hands‑on React training and mentoring to data/analytics engineers, BI developers, and analysts through pairing, workshops, and documentation.
  • Develop features using AI‑assisted workflows as a regular part of the engineering process, applied thoughtfully within platform standards.
Qualifications
  • Solid working knowledge of React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and front‑end build tooling, with familiarity in data visualization/charting libraries.
  • Comfortable working with SQL and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred).
  • Strong communication skills — able to explain React concepts to engineers and analysts without a front‑end background.
  • Real, hands‑on experience developing with AI‑assisted workflows (AI coding assistants, agentic dev tools) in a professional setting.
  • Patient, collaborative teaching style with genuine interest in developing others.
Education & Experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience building applications with React.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Preferred Experience building data-driven or reporting/dashboard-style applications.
  • Snowflake or another cloud data warehouse experience.
  • Some prior experience mentoring, pairing with, or training less experienced developers.

We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $83,000 -- $160,500 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location. CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.

In return we offer:
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match
  • Traditional healthcare benefits such as medical and dental coverage, and some unique benefits like onsite health centers, corporate wellness programs, and free behavioral health appointments.
  • Flexible work schedules - including work-from-home options available
  • Recognition programs with rewards including trips, cash, and paid time off
  • Family-friendly benefits including paid parental leave, fertility coverage, adoption assistance, and marriage counseling
