About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Anesthesiology CRNA in Vermont!

We are seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a 120-day assignment in Vermont, commencing Oct 5, 2026. This role involves 12-hour shifts with a TBD call component. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive general adult anesthesiology care within an academic trauma center, managing a broad case mix including general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, urology, GI/endoscopy, GYN, vascular, trauma, regional, general, MAC/sedation, and neuraxial anesthesia. Duties span pre-op assessment through anesthesia management, emergence, and PACU handoff.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide general adult anesthesiology at an academic trauma center
  • Work within a care team model
  • Manage a broad adult anesthesia case mix at an academic tertiary-care hospital
  • Perform general surgery anesthesia
  • Handle orthopedics / complex ortho cases
  • Manage ENT cases
  • Provide urology anesthesia
  • Oversee GI/endoscopy procedures
  • Administer GYN anesthesia
  • Perform vascular anesthesia
  • Manage trauma/emergency cases
  • Perform regional anesthesia / blocks
  • Administer general anesthesia, MAC/sedation, and neuraxial anesthesia
  • Conduct pre-operative assessments
  • Manage anesthesia during procedures
  • Execute emergence/PACU handoff
