Job description

Are you an Orthopeadic Spine Surgeon searching for your next perm position? This position with one of VISTA s healthcare partners in West Central Georgia might just be the opportunity for you!
Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: M F 8a 5p
  • Job Setting - Physician owned private practice- multi-specialty orthopaedic practice with Centers of Excellence in spine, upper and lower extremities and total joint replacement. 90+ providers, 30 clinics operating in GA, AL, TN, GA. Well-known physician owned group that has been serving the community since 1949.
  • Practice owned surgery center on-site, strong infrastructure, excellent use of technology, existing referral sources. Conveniently located to hospital locations and access to the practice owned Foundation Research/Education facility.
  • Practice type - Inpatient and Outpatient
  • Currently has a team of 2 Orthopaedic Spine surgeons, this position is an additional physician.
  • Anticipate very busy Clinic with high patient volume.
  • Surgery typically 2 days in OR and 3 days in clinic, this can fluctuate based on volumes.
  • EMR - Athena
  • Call shared with Spine Team
  • Compensation structure and benefit package offerings - Compensation structure is a revenue-based model, productivity driven. (Negotiated individually between practice and physician)
  • Surgery Center Partner and Ownership tract
  • Benefits - Comprehensive Insurance Package, Competitive Retirement Options
  • Relocation assistance and Sign-on Bonus Negotiable
Location Details - Columbus, Georgia: Historic riverfront city, vibrant arts scene, National Infantry Museum, Chattahoochee Riverwalk, and home of Fort Benning military base. Approximately 90 minutes to Atlanta.
Minimum Requirements for Consideration
  • Board Certified Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon
  • Experience Required
  • GA Licensure by start date
  • No Visa Sponsorship
