What You ll Do
  • Provide emergency and inpatient obstetric care in a hospital setting
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality care
  • Manage labor and delivery as well as postpartum care
  • Document clinical findings and interventions accurately
  • Support hospital protocols, quality initiatives, and patient education
  • Cover scheduled and on-call shifts based on facility needs
What You Need
Required:
  • Virginia medical license or eligible for licensing
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Proven experience in obstetric care within a hospital environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred:
  • Previous locum or hospitalist experience
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to emergency situations
