Job description

Jackson & Coker is seeking 1-2 GI Hospitalists for locum tenens coverage in Western Louisiana, starting in late October and ongoing. This opportunity requires advanced GI skills, specifically ERCP and EUS, and a commitment of at least one week per month. The role involves inpatient GI Hospitalist duties, including daily rounding, procedures, and ED consults/follow-ups.

Practice Info

  • Average patient volume: 18-20 PPD total
  • 200+ beds
  • Level 3 trauma center
  • EPIC EMR

Responsibilities

  • Complete daily rounding
  • Perform procedures
  • Handle ED consults/follow ups

  • Must have active Louisiana license and/or have an active LOQ through the IMLC
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible required
  • Must be willing to include a minimum of 8 hours of work in your daily rate (anticipate working an average of 10-12 hour days each day)
