Locum Tenens Hematology Oncology Physician

Position Type: Locum Tenens
Specialty: Physician - Hematology Oncology
Location: Lapeer, MI.
Shift: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult
Setting: Outpatient Clinic
Responsibilities: Hematology and Oncology outpatient care, participation in tumor board, clinic call coverage
Required Procedures: Hematology outpatient care, Oncology outpatient care
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff: Oncology RNs, Medical Assistants, Social Worker, Dietitian, Nurse Navigator, NP support
Days Per Month: Monday, Wednesday, Friday coverage
On-Call/Weekends: Clinic call only, optional night call and optional weekend 24hr call

Submission Requirements:

  • Board Certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology - Required
  • BLS/ACLS - Required
  • Active MI License - Required
  • NPDB Self-Query report within 30 days - Required
