We're seeking a detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service.

Position Summary

The Credentialing Specialist manages the credentialing process from application through approval, ensuring providers are credentialed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate provider credentialing and privileging.
  • Prepare and submit credentialing applications.
  • Maintain accurate provider documentation and credentialing records within the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other internal databases
  • Verify licenses, certifications, and supporting documentation as applicable.
  • Monitor application status and resolve issues proactively.
  • Maintain accurate provider records.
  • Partner with providers, clients, and internal teams to meet start dates.
  • Meet quality, productivity, and turnaround expectations.

Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years of healthcare credentialing experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment

Preferred

  • Locum tenens or healthcare staffing experience
  • Experience with privileging and provider licensing
