Job description

Locum Abdominal Transplant

The APRN or Physician Assistant provides medical services, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention as well as diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diseases. Works autonomously as well as in collaboration with a variety of individuals to diagnose and manage clients' health care problems. The APRN or PA will be part of a multidisciplinary team caring for a busy abdominal transplant surgery service. This service is an admitting and consulting service. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values in accordance with Tampa General Hospital.

Qualifications

Current licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Florida. Adult Gerontology Acute Care or Acute Care board certification required for APRNs. Transplant surgery experience preferred.
