THE WORK
The Site Distribution Services (SDS) departments are staffed by proud workers who directly support the Warfighter. This position is demanding and requires a high degree of accuracy, safetyfirst mindset, and professional behavior toward coworkers and customers.
Key Responsibilities
-Perform material handling tasks safely for yourself, coworkers, and product.
-Operate powered forklifts and unpowered pallet jacks; consistently follow safety procedures.
-Use computers, iPads, or other handheld devices for inventory tracking, order entry, and reporting.
-Maintain highaccuracy workmanship: doublecheck counts, locations, and documentation.
-Execute physical duties: standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, stretching, climbing stairs/ladders, and carrying materials throughout the shift.
Sololift items up to 39lb; request assistance for items 40lb+.
-Wear provided personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
-Demonstrate fine motor skills, strong grip, and repetitivetask endurance.
-Communicate clearly-both written and oral-with teammates and internal customers.
-Review written processes, suggest improvements, and help streamline workflow.
-Practice good housekeeping; identify and report safety hazards or violations.
-Remain vigilant of surrounding activity; report any suspicious security incidents.
-Safeguard all Company and Governmentowned property during handling, storage, and transport.
