Job description

SUMMARY:
The Locker Room Spa Attendant responsible for the smooth, efficient operation of the Locker Room and Pool Area. Provides a clean and safe spa experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
  • Takes care of guest needs, ensuring that supplies are available and that the facilities are kept clean and in safe condition at all times.
  • Monitors guests, ensuring their safety by showing them proper use of facilities; monitors guest use of facilities, making sure that guests do not endanger themselves with overuse of facilities (i.e., steam room, sauna, pools, etc.).
  • Assist guests with their locker locks as needed.
  • Adheres to Four Winds Casinos standards for guest service
  • Refers guest problems or complaints to supervisor according to guest problem resolution policy.
  • Keeps a daily log of activities performed to ensure that the Locker Rooms are maintained to facility standards
  • Continually stock and upkeep lockers that have been used by guests in order to quickly assign to a new guest.
  • Cleans all surfaces, showers stalls, restrooms and other areas in compliance with the facilities sanitation standards.
  • Folds and stocks towels, robes, sheets and other linens in the appropriate storage areas within the facility.
  • Assist with moving dirty or clean linen, via rolling carts from the hotel's laundry area.
  • Monitors and maintains steam, showers, saunas, etc., notifies Maintenance when facilities need servicing.
  • Reports and documents any observed or known safety hazards, conditions or unsafe practices and procedures to management immediately.
  • Performs other duties assigned by the Spa Manager, including stocking of treatment rooms, and other supplies when needed.
  • Must be alert to safety hazards to ensure guest safety and smooth operation of Locker Rooms.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess a positive and cooperative attitude, be able to work with a variety of people, and remain calm under pressure. Must be able to perform a variety of responsibilities, including guest service, cleaning, and maintenance of Locker Rooms
This position requires a LEVEL 4 Gaming License.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
