Job description

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is currently seeking a Corporate & Treasury Accountant in our Albuquerque office to support our company in 15+ locations. Responsible for supporting financial operations through accurate accounting, strong internal controls, and effective cash and treasury management. This role helps ensure compliance, audit readiness, and reliable financial reporting.

Essential Job Functions

Treasury

  • Oversee daily cash activity, including cash flow monitoring, liquidity management, lockbox activity, and the recording and initiation of treasury transactions within the ERP system - Deltek Vantagepoint.
  • Record and reconcile cash transactions and bank activity.
  • Maintain relationships with banking partners and support daytoday banking needs.
  • Support debt and financing activities, including compliance and reporting.
  • Maintain strong internal controls over treasury processes to safeguard company assets.

Accounting

  • Support annual GAAP and FAR audits by preparing schedules and coordinating with external auditors.
  • Prepare and reconcile biweekly payroll journal entries, including salary, paid time off, floating holiday accruals as well as employee advances, tax reconciliations, health savings account activity, and health insurance accruals.
  • Manage Notes, including interest calculations and schedules using TValue software.

Required Experience

  • 8-10 years of experience in accounting and/or treasury support
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • Language Skills
    Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
  • Mathematical Skills
    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Reasoning Ability
    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
