Job Title:ย Ultrasound Technologist (Breast)
Location: The Woodlands, TX
Type: Contract | 6 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Breast Ultrasound Technologist for an exciting Travel or Local job in The Woodlands, TX.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic breast ultrasound examinations

  • Assist physicians with breast interventional procedures

  • Conduct ultrasound-guided breast biopsies

  • Perform wire localization (Wire Loc) procedures

  • Assist with SAVI Scout placement procedures

  • Ensure accurate image acquisition and documentation

  • Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout examinations and procedures

  • Document patient information and procedure details in Epic EMR

  • Follow established departmental protocols and quality standards

  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

  • Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of Breast Ultrasound experience required

  • Experience performing breast ultrasound examinations required

  • Experience with Wire Localizations (Wire Locs) required

  • Experience with SAVI Scout Placements required

  • Experience performing Breast Biopsies required

  • Experience using Epic EMR required

  • Strong knowledge of breast imaging protocols and patient care standards

  • Strong communication and patient care skills

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment

  • ARDMS Certification required/preferred per facility guidelines

  • Active Ultrasound Technologist credentials as required by state and facility regulations

  • BLS Certification required if applicable per facility guidelines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a hospital-based breast imaging department

  • Experience supporting radiologists during breast intervention procedures
